Teaching has always played a huge role in my life. I love teaching students of any age or ability, as long as they are passionate about music-making and they're willing to work.

I aim to hold students to their highest potential, while always treating them with respect and kindness. I believe they are capable of great things, so I expect nothing less. Physical relaxation, musical line, and a refined sense of style are among my top priorities.

I've had the pleasure of teaching at Azusa Pacific University for the past 20 years. I've taught classes and worked as an administrator in many capacities. My favorite part? My private piano students. Over the years I've developed lasting, positive relationships with so many of them and I have been fortunate to work with many gifted young people who are also truly a pleasure to teach and to know.
